Over the past week, our primary focus has been on the website design for the upcoming Beta release of AlignUI. We are pleased to announce that we have made significant progress, with only the final touches remaining – specifically, the creation of videos. In our pursuit of video content, a fortunate turn of events occurred when a colleague expressed interest in assisting us. This individual, now a valued member of the AlignUI Team, will play a crucial role in video production. For a more in-depth discussion, let’s delve into the details!
Following the completion of the website design using Figma, our attention shifted towards transitioning to Framer. This week, we successfully navigated through all sections, prototyping, and CMS integration. Components, Updates, and Blogs are now seamlessly connected to the CMS, providing us with the flexibility to customize and add new content effortlessly. Presently, the missing elements for the website are three videos showcasing our main features in the hero section and an introductory video for presenting the AlignUI Design System. This is where assistance became essential.
Given our limited resources in both video editing expertise and time, finding a candidate who not only excels in video creation but is also familiar with Figma posed a unique challenge. We sought an individual who could bring creative ideas to life and possess a fundamental understanding of design systems. Fortunately, Kerem, a colleague and friend, stepped forward to offer his assistance with the videos. As a product designer and motion designer, he aligns perfectly with our requirements.
After a series of meetings, we are thrilled to announce that Kerem (@dcyanky on X) is now a part of the AlignUI Team! He will assist us in crafting the introductory video for the AlignUI Design System Beta, soon to be featured on the website. With Kerem joining our team, featuring Erşad, Onur, Melis, and himself, we have strengthened our lineup, bringing in a diverse range of skills and expertise.
As we are on the verge of the Beta release of AlignUI Design System, we share in your excitement, evident from the numerous messages, emails, and comments we have received. For those following our updates, the progress has likely caught your attention. All we need is a bit more time, and we will be ready to unveil the Beta version. Until then, stay tuned and follow us on X (Twitter) for the latest updates!
